Micah told of Jesus' being born in Bethlehem..He also added Ephratah (In case there was another Bethlehem
( I am thinking there was a Bethlehem of Zebulun). In the Book of Genesis Chap. 48:7 it says Ephratah, that is Bethlehem.    Read Matt.2:  Luke 2:  Matt. 10:35,36

God spoke ...He will be born there. It happened.
Micah 5:1 "..smite the Judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek."   Matt. 27:30
Micah 1:1,14 Micah's home was in Moresheth-gath, a town about 20 miles southwest of Jerusalem.
Micah was joined in Judah by Isaiah. About the same time, Hosea and Amos were preaching in Israel.
Micah 6:3 Micah pleads...Please repent.
We should try to live and please God. Micah 6:8
...Nothing minor here.
I enjoyed studying and writing this.  May 18, 2000
